Dimed Out Podcast: S1, E14 – Mindfulness, Meditation & Tik Tok

Cover art for mindfulness podcast

Alright lads, this week I'm joined by the wonderful Andi for a transparent journey of understanding and self improvement.

In the first of two conversations we tackle a number of personal and interpersonal issues such as stockpiling problems, internal pressure valves and doomscrolling. We also look at mindfulness as a whole. Specific mindfulness exercises and how positive affirmations along with asking for help  can be great for your mental health.

Outside of self love and healing, we take a pretty deep dive into the most topical social media platform out there right now, Tik Tok.  Digging a little deeper  I discover it’s not just dance routines, but a multi-layered looking glass. One that displays the good, the bad and the ugly side of internet consumption and digital creation.

If you’ve enjoyed this episode and the topics discussed, then chances are you might be interested in Episode 8. It’s a varied conversation which touches quite extensively on the ideas of emotional allowance and positive intentions.
