alright lads, climb aboard the skoolie, we're going off grid!
This week I’m joined by my second guest, Tanner Bananner. Taking a break from his current life altering project, we discuss living off the grid. How he bought himself a converted school bus aka a Skoolie. How he’s making it habitable and why he’s decided to call it his home.
Dipping into Tanner’s past we also talk about being your own person. Even if it ruffles a few feathers. Dealing with passive aggressive resistance. What he’s learned from taking a vow of honesty and how becoming a fruitarian changed his life, health and overall outlook.

So what about you? Is the Skoolie life something that takes your fancy?
Are you tempted to break away from all the trappings of modern life and society. Do you have an itch to get out there and start living off the grid? Maybe you’re already out there, living the dream. Cruising around in a converted bus of your own. Adventuring across countless landscapes, seeing the world from the comfort of your own home. Perhaps you’re settled off the beaten track in a tiny home. Living life out in your patch of wilderness.
Either way, I’d love to hear from you. I’d love to get your take on both sides of the living arrangement, as it were.
As for me. Well, personally love the idea. The problem is, I don’t think I’d do too well out there. I have sadly become softened by modern comforts and societal norms, but you never know, maybe…one day.
