Dimed Out Podcast – S3, E3: SOCIAL MEdia

podcast episode on social media

Alright gang, this week we're aiming to put the social back into social media.

In the first of a two part conversation with Dr Lauren Serpico we dig into the pros and cons of remote working. We’re talking procrastination, productivity, accountability, and perfectionism.

But our main focus is on a major issue when it comes to social media and mental health. Chasing the unicorn. Also known as the detrimental pursuit of perfection. Social media as a measuring stick can be a real problem and a glaring example of how comparison really is the thief of joy.

Harnessing her education and experience Dr Lauren provides us some mindful, pro-active tools to combat this and to     create a more immersive, communal experience online.
