Alright lads, this week I'm joined by Scott Davidson, the man behind the empowering content platform and community Living Adaptive.
During his time with me, my special guest Scott Davidson talks openly about his congenital disability and how he, himself, has adapted and thrived despite the challenges he’s faced. We also get into how the Phantom of the Opera became an unexpected figure of influence. What led him to create Living Adaptive in the first place. What he’s learned from from doing so. How he’s been personally affected by the stories he’s encountered and shared and how he’s encouraging young people in the adaptive community to live their life as fully as possible .
Asides from being a downright, genuine fella who is clearly very passionate about the work he’s doing, Scott also hosts a podcast of his own, which shines a light on some truly remarkable individuals sharing a wide range of incredible stories. I can’t recommend the Living adaptive podcast and everything Scott is doing enough. I love his enthusiasm, his drive and where his heart is at.

Scott Davidson is an adventure athlete, content creator, and was born with a congenital disability, specifically impacting his legs, most notably severe bilateral clubfoot involving atrophy and shortening of the muscles in his lower legs, and other accompanying issues. Despite his congenital disability and the highly archaic treatments received, Scott Davidson thrives, and if he could change the way he was born, he wouldn’t.
Currently, Scott Davidson is training to climb three volcanos in Ecuador, including Cotopaxi (approximately 20,000 feet), to raise awareness and funds for those with limb disabilities (amputees, limb deficiencies, birth defects, etc). He’s also training to conquer more outdoor adventures and is turning his focus towards endurance sports.
Scott Davidson creates content in multiple areas. Currently, much of Scott’s focus is on his long standing show Living Adaptive. This show highlights amazing adaptive individuals who reached notable achievements despite facing significant adversity. He also provides free consulting and branding to individuals and organizations within the adaptive world. Scott displays that one can adapt and thrive despite any adversity one faces. Furthermore, he believes the adaptive athlete is the human condition magnified and anyone can learn substantial life lessons from the adaptive whenever facing adversity, especially when one’s body begins to decline. Additionally, Scott Davidson is focused on bringing mobility resources to underserved populations throughout the world.
Scott Davidson lives in Vegas with his wife and three amazing kids.
